Mr Potato Head with Mrs Hawkins

Today in the PlayZone Mrs Hawkins set up a mini station at the tepu. The focus today was talking about the Five Senses (hear, see, touch, taste and smell) using Mr Potato Head as the resource. The children constructed potato heads, talked and used fine motor skills to make their potato head out of coloured paper.  This was followed up with using writing skills to identify the different senses.  We all had heaps of fun learning and used lots of different skills.
