EOTC stations

Today was our last day of EOTC before we go on our big whole school trip to Masterton. WE are all feeling a bit tired from our busy week so today we set up lots of different activities that the children to move through freely. This included inside activities as we thought it might be nice to be out of the sun for a little bit before tomorrow. The end of our day consisted of our TKW and TKP swimming carnival where we showcased our swimming skills to our friends and families.

We had foam!

We had a Palmy Rocks station!

After being outside all the week the boys were extremely excited to be inside and took over the whānau corner for some awesome home dramatic play. It was great seeing an area that is normal dominated by the girls being used and loved by the boys aswell.

Leo was happy to be reunited with the class Mobilo and created an amazing transformer robot.

The girls enjoyed some quiet time doing some yoga.

We collected some large tree branches that had fallen on the ground to paint outside. We are hoping to create a beautiful tree to place inside our playzone.

Throughout the morning the groups of children changed that added to our beautiful tree colours.

Lena and Nesha found a quiet space outside to play with their little pets.

Dylan had his bike at school today and wasn't too happy to see that some of our oobleck had got on his handle bars. Dylan and Cooper asked if they could have some water to wash Dylans bike, so they helped me to collect a bucket of water and bubbles and two clothes to wash it down. Then Dylan needed a dry towel to dry the water off so that it would get shiny and new again. Ka Pai boys for problem solving a very upsetting situations.
